"To Catch a Thief!"

During the past several years, we have worked closely with FWC, MCSO, USCG and NOAA law enforcement and the Monroe County State Attorney's office to apprehend and punish trap robbers and lobster thieves costing our industry more than $4 million dollars per year in the spiny lobster fishery alone and $3.2 million in the stone crab fishery.                                             Their results have been significant.

Our Industry Crime Watch has been especially helpful in identifying problem areas and providing law enforcement with the tips and information they need to be most effective.
